James Hardie Cedarmill lap siding in Arctic White gave the exterior a finish built to last, while a new dormer gave the roofline depth and character it had never had. New Pella Lifestyle Series windows and doors were installed throughout the home. Carriage-house-style doors with a mahogany overlay were added to the existing three-car garage, and the trim was painted to match the windows.
At the front entry, a new flagstone porch and steps welcome you beneath a beadboard ceiling. Bevolo gas and electric lanterns, handcrafted in New Orleans, bring warmth that sets the tone before you reach the door. A heated walkway at the side entryway adds functionality that disappears quietly into the design.
At the rear, the new screened-in and open porch extends the home’s living space into the outdoors. Extensive hardscaping and landscaping from Roots Landscape completed the exterior, giving the grounds the same level of attention as everything above them.
