In this Glen Mills residence, Hazley Builders reimagined a 1990s kitchen into a luminous, timeless space where classic elegance meets modern functionality. The renovation prioritized natural light and refined materials to create a kitchen that feels both sophisticated and effortlessly livable. Every detail—from millwork to lighting—was selected to evoke a sense of warmth and quiet luxury.
The design features custom shaker-style cabinetry, setting a fresh yet inviting foundation for the space. A handcrafted plaster range hood introduces soft texture, while the full-height marble backsplash adds depth and continuity.
Anchoring the room is a large island with a mitered-edge Danby marble top, offering both expansive, durable prep space and casual seating. Integrated appliances contribute to the streamlined aesthetic, and expansive windows over the sink flood the kitchen with natural light. The space is further enhanced by a layered lighting plan of recessed fixtures and brushed brass sconces.
In the dining area, the existing fireplace was refinished and painted to blend with the kitchen’s color palette.
